A limited edition run of 500 timepieces, Audemars Piguet's newest release is inspired by music. The dial represents a VU meter and its push-piece guards evoke mixer faders. A step further, its lug studs have a milled texture symbolizing audio jacks on a traditional Royal Oak Offshore aesthetic. A fun and unexpected take on the traditional Audemars Piguet tapisserie.
This watch has an interchangeable rubber strap that is offered in three colors: turquoise blue, yellow and green. The dial features white gold appliqued hour markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating. The case is crafted in titanium and has the option of 37 or 43mms. The titanium watch has a blue base with an equalizer motif printed onto it. The caliber is a 4309 self-winding mechanism with a seventy-hour power reserve. Flip the watch over and it reveals “limited edition, of 500 pieces” on the case back.
The new Royal Oak Offshore reference amplifies the brand's long-standing relationship with music. A vibrant, unconventional edition of the traditional Royal Oak Offshore model makes this piece an extraordinary collector's piece.
