The launch of the Aquanaut in 1997 created a sensation, the watch was youthful, modern, and unexpected. Inspired by the Nautilus, the case is a rounded octagon that is paired with a “tropical” strap. The Aquanaut 5167R was initially released in 2009 and is still currently in production. Some of the design elements include a 40mm cushion-shaped case, with a thickness of 8.5mm making it a very slim watch. The 18k rose gold finish is both brushed and highly polished, creating a lustrous appearance similar to cut gems. The 5167R is water resistant up to 120 meters and thanks to its use of platinum in its alloy it will not fade like many other rose gold watches.

The 2022 Aquanaut 5167R has a spacious chocolate dial and offers a more refined look. The geosphere design has an exhibition case back, which allows one to see the heart of the aquanaut. The 324 SC movement is composed of 29 jewels and 213 parts. It features a unidirectional lining for superior efficiency and 35-45 hours of power reserve.
